What are my chances at CSULB? (Bob Cole Conservatory of Music) *Music Education Major*

I will be a senior in high school this year (class of 2017) and I am planning to apply at CSULB. I have all my credits so far, so I am graduating on time. I did fail Geometry both semesters, so I have two Fs on my permanent transcript, but I made both classes up with a C or better. However, I read on the school website that I must receive a C or better in each course: http://web.csulb.edu/depts/enrollment/admissions/college_prep.html On my permanent high school transcript, there are 5 D's that I have not made up in summer school or online. Should I still apply to CSULB anyways? Or it would just be a waste of time and effort? My UC/CSU GPA is 2.8 (not including my second semester of junior year). My SAT with writing score is 940 and my ACT with writing score is 15. I want to enroll in the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music at CSULB in order to pursue a bachelors degree in music education. After, I am planning to transfer to USC Thornton School of Music to earn a master's degree in music education, as well as a doctorate (Ph.D.) degree in music education. If I cannot make it straight to a UC after high school, I am willing to go to a CC so that I can complete my general education while getting an AA degree in music or just completing my general education alone at a CC and transferring to CSULB without an AA degree. What route is more realistic in my situation?
